Tmux is not a game-changer. Carla has been sick for a month, she went to the doctor 3 weeks ago and was told she was low on calcium. WRONG, WRONG. It was COVID. Apparently they are not testing for it anymore so I don’t even know what to think of that. Audrey had her 4th b-day party, so with Carla being down I had to clean the house about 4 times, finish the kitchen renovation (electrocuted only twice, new record), ran the kids around town for whatever, whenever. Cleaned up dog poop. I did get a chance to let Chloe sit on my lap and drive Thursday night. Carla will never read any of this so I’m in the clear. She did pretty good – got us out of the school parking lot and onto a main road without killing ourselves. A little mischief is good for the soul. I lost my last post describing my current issues with my server build. It boils down to nginx reverse proxy. I’m not resorting to google/forums/AI to fix it. I’m trying to troubleshoot using my knowledge and using root-cause analysis. If it becomes too much of a time-sink I will eventually look for help. In the meantime, yes, tmux… lol thinking I would have two days to do ANYTHING. While writing this Carla asked me for help getting the dog in the house. It’s well below freezing and the dog is a polar bear. He wouldn’t come in for a steak dinner. I don’t know how she does this on her own but stay at home mom’s deserve all the credit in the world. The only time I have to nerd it up is when she falls asleep at night. I worked on nginx reverse proxy for about 3 hours – from 11 until about 2. Knowing I had a Teams interview at 9. An interview at 11 and one at 3. For the hell of it, someone called and interviewed me at 12:30. I’m 3/4 for the day and some are more promising than others. Beats the hell out of the people on reddit who are sending in 100 applications and getting one response. My life is absolutely insane right now but I have a lot to be grateful for – interview in 19 minutes – if you’re 5 minutes early, you’re 10 minutes late.
